When we replaced our tub shower with a walk in, the hand held shower head had a 6' cord. Being older, we had put a fold up teak shower seat on the far wall. The hose was long enough to reach the other side of the shower with the spray, but when you were sitting on the seat trying to rinse your legs/feet, the hose was so short that you could nor turn the shower head to rinse. So I ended up having to hold it by the head, which caused my arthritis to act up. In addition, the hose was too short for the shower head to reach the seat. Therefore, when I was lathering up I would have to lay the shower head down on the floor of the shower. The weight of the cord immediately pulled the head back to the front of the shower, leaving me to try and get up and grab the head with soapy feet which were very slippery. Really defeated the purpose of having a "safe" shower to prevent falls.This hose was swapped out for the old one and now the shower works great! This is long enough that I can sit on the seat, put the shower head on the seat beside me, then hold it in my hand and turn the head sideways of my body to thoroughly rinse off my legs and feet. No more having to stand up with soapy, slippery feet to try and retrieve the shower head.The chrome finish looks nice and bright, stays clean, does not kink up, and does not leak. I LOVE it! One of the best purchases I have made. After a year it has held up well and I see no reason at all why this will not go on for many years to come.

The coupling the allows you to screw the hose into the handheld shower head cracked and was leaking very badly. I didn't want to replace the whole unit because it was pretty expensive. Saw this hose on Amazon at a decent price and decided to give it a try. Replacing the old hose with this one was very easy - just unscrew the old hose at the handheld unit, then where it attaches to the diverter at the fixed shower head. Took less then 5 minutes and works perfectly! The hose is incredibly flexible and the length is great for being able to reach to the lower portions of the shower. I was thrilled that it come in this nickel finish. It matches the shower head very well!We had replaced the hose on our upstairs shower with a plastic replacement that was just as expensive as this one. I ordered a second one of these in the chrome color so I can replace that hose as well.

I was very impressed by the quality of this shower hose. First the end are metal and the hose is metal with a rubber hose inside. Most of the shower hoses today are plastic which break after a few years. For the price it's a very good product. It will last for many years. The washers inside are silicone based and not the cheap black rubber washers that go bad after a year. It was very easy to connect to the shower pipe,no issues with leaking. The brushed nickel matches my shower head and connector.I highly recommend this product to anyone when replacing their hose.The price was very good as well.5 stars for this product

I needed an extra long hose to bathe our dog in the shower, now he can't escape me! I took one star off because it was the wrong shape to work well with our existing shower, so we had to improvise.

We have a very nice dual shower head (local purchase) which is several years old. The coupling on the handheld cracked and eventually just came off. Since it's in good condition, I decided to try just replacing the hose. Tried this one as it was a decent price and not shorter than the current hose (79" and our existing was 72"). I did have a tiny moment of "uh oh" when installing. It went onto the handheld very easy, but not so much on the shower head fixed to the wall. I thought it was too small, but it turned out the threads were just not as forgiving and had to be lined up perfectly to get it started. It did go on and fits nice and tight. No leaks from either end, and I just used the teflon tape that was left on from the previous hose (FWIW it did not come with teflon tape).One surprising bonus that I'm loving about this hose is that it's very flexible. Didn't realize how stiff the original hose was until I pulled this one out of the package. Even when under pressure with water, it stays flexible. A+Have only been using it about a week, so we'll see how long it stands up, but so far I'm very happy with it and would definitely recommend.

Quality metal hose. Fits in the slot where handheld goes. It's nice that it's so flexible as well.
