The PEX-A tubing roll protects against kinking and features the highest rated flexibility, allowing for easy bending around corners, longer runs, and faster installation with fewer connection points. The PEX-A pipes expand and contract as water freezes within the pipe making PEX-A pipes more resistant to burst pressure in freezing temperatures. The flexibility of PEX-A pipes allows the end to be fluted prior to inserting the fitting to accommodate expansion style fittings which provide less flow restriction and can increase water pressure where needed. Composed of strong and sturdy plastic polymer, this plastic hose tubing is built to last, features a 3 month UV resistance, and is the highest rated for chlorine resistance. Perfect for potable hot and cold water lines, this PEX-A piping is approved for use with PEX expansion (F1960), push to connect (ASSE 1061), plastic crimp (ASTM F2159), and brass crimp (ASTM F1807) fittings. These PEX-A coils feature a minimum working temperature of 33 degrees F at 160 PSI, a maximum working temperature 200 degrees F at 80 PSI, and a maximum working pressure is 160 PSI at 33 degrees F to 70 degrees F.

This is really good quality pipe. I use this.For a pressure tank to house pipe that was on the exterior. I used foam insulation and wrapped it with exterior plumbing pipe. It bends fairly easy and does not kink. I highly recommend using a small heat gun when doing anything with it just to make it easier. The other thing I would suggest is getting the efield 1 inch ball valves.

The best PEX I've used.Their 3/4 is much better than their 1/2, but both are miles ahead of anyone else's.This is both more rigid, and pliable at the same time.

Great product at a great price! I had two rather small projects and was unsure this would be enough to meet my length needs. Turns out I used only half the amount. It's great stuff at a great price, so if you are considering it, don't hesitate to give it a good look. I see this brand in stores all the time. SharkBite really sets the standard for certain PEX supplies.

I usually found PEX-B too stiff to work with so I switched to Uponor Aquapex Pex-A and was thrilled. However I went to order more and nobody had it, so I thought I'd try the Sharkbite Pex-A. Very disappointed. It is definitely easier to bend than the Sharkbite Pex-B, but still much stiffer than the Aquapex brand. I had to repeatedly re-do a section that kept kinking while I was attaching it to a 90° bend support.

This product works. First time pex a user, installed per all instructions with manual tool, rotating the head frequently to avoid creating ridges in the tube. First attempt I turned the water on maybe only five minutes after the pipe was self sufficiently holding. Noted slow dripping about 1 per 5 seconds. Thought job failed, reattempted but waited 35 minutes. No drips. Make sure the collar doesn't slip off while you expand the pipe, take a break and press it on if it comes loose.

By far this is the best price for 100’ rolls of quality hard to find PEX-A. Most big name retailers only carry the cheaper PEX-B and will order you the PEX-A at a premium, honestly though this is priced at about the same cost as the PEX-B from the retailers. And it’s a quality “sharkbite†manufactured product not a cheap knockoff.
