i have all high end tackle, Certates Stella's etc so i know what makes a good reel,that said I needed a few budget reels to stay on the boat for wreck and striperstops. got a few of these in the 4k size and loaded with 40lb braid and i mustsay they are impressive, smooth quiet and seem well made, and look good.

Purchased the 6000 model. I used it for trip to Panama to cast Popper for big Yellow Fin Tuna, Roosterfish, and Snapper. I had not heard much about this line before buying and had moderate expectations. However, this reel is the REAL deal. It held up to over a dozen tuna in the 50-80lb range smoking drag with over 20lb of pressure. I never would have thought this would be possible. However, this is a work horse of a reel at a phenominal value.

Haven't hooked many fish with the reel , but it is very smooth. Drag is nice! The body is slightly smaller than a battle 2 6000 but holds just as much line. I think it'll be a great reel to have in my arsenal! Have it paired with a 10.5 ft okuma Solaris surf rod and has a nice balance and the combo cast very effortlessly. Good reel overall for the price point.

Not going to lie, I'm the guy who usually equates the price with how good an item is. Meaning, if it's not super expensive, it's crap! I basically bought this because it was on sale and I thought it would be better than the other cheap reel I have which was the penn pursuit 4 seeing that this claimed to be saltwater rated. I didnt have high hopes for this as I thought of piscifun as a cheap brand. Well, let me tell you this, I brought in a 7lb bonefish yesterday and my God it felt so silky smooth and composed. The smoothness aspect of this reel is no lie. I can't speak to the longevity as yet as I only had this in my hands for a week but as of right now, I am so happy. I will update if anything goes wrong in a year if God wills me to live another. Really and truly, to me, if anything goes after a year of surf fishing I will still consider it as a great investment. I spoiled this baby with 30 lb beyond braid with a 15 foot shock leader and even on the ugly stik inshore carbon medium heavy rod, it casts like a dream. Yeah I like this reel so far. I may just replace my penn battles with this. Time will tell. I will say though, I already placed two 5000 in my cart lol.Piscifun, Holla at your boy with some reels, I'll promote them.Please note, I have no ties whatsoever to Piscifun or any other brand for the matter. I'm just genuinely pleased with item. If I had one gripe, I would say the paint job isn't the best but hek, if it catches fish and lasts, who cares.

Got this reel on a cyber Monday deal, fantastic reel for the money. Very smooth, loud drag clicker. The sealing system looks decent, we'll see how it holds up to salt water.
