I ordered this after my old one was torn away during an automatic car wash. This one fit well, nice gasket that seals down tight as you screw the two bolts back in place. I replaced the original bulbs with LED set I bought from Amazon and it is bright as heck when you use the cab light!! Great OEM replacement at a great cost.

The 3rd Brake and Truck bed light looks great on my truck. The Durability is great. The Wiring was easy just plug existing wires in the correct places. Quality 3m foam ring prevents Leakage. The Brightness is incredible. Functionality is amazing as it really helps to have light in the bed of the truck while working in the dark, and it also helps that it can be used as 3rd Brake light for safety. Highly recommend this product and seller, they were Fast, Friendly, Quick to Respond and Quick to Ship.

My original F-150 3rd brake-light had become dry-rotted somewhat. I bought the truck new in 2008 so this same brake light had been on the truck for 15 years, most of which, it was kept outside the garage.I needed this quickly and the shipping was fast. Actually got it 1 day earlier than expected.Installation was relatively smooth. The harness does work but I opted to not use the harness due to needing to remove the inner headliner where the harness connects. What I did do was cut the wires that lead to the bulbs, cut my old wires, and splice the cables to the original harness (Just Youtube for this "patching or splicing new 3rd light brake harness).The light itself improved my vision in the late afternoons during winter (gets dark quickly), when I have to back my truck into my driveway. I was shocked at how dim my old light had gotten compared to these new bulbs. And best of all, no more leaks in the cab (only had 1 small leak which is what made me realize my old one was cracked open).The fit is near perfect. I did add some silicone around the seal to help prolong the life of the seal.If you're okay with some light workarounds and have 30 minutes, this will work for you.

2012 Ford F150 XL. This is not an OEM part. Still, I was able to install and it worked. Will have to wait for sometime to determine water resistance ability. I ordered a thicker gasket as recommended by other reviews. It was good. I needed the extra thickness.Pros: 1) It works and look good. 2) It did NOT require any rewiring. Cons: 1) It is not OEM and thus does not fit perfectly, although I was able to install. It does not sit flush like the OEM assembly. Also, the light sockets were not a perfect fit. The light would install into the fixture, but I had to gently use a pair of pliers to seat the bulbs. I was gentle so as not to break the bulb sockets. 2) The fixture does not sit flush with the body. It is maybe a quarter inch away. The extra thick gasket I purchased separately seemed better than the included gasket. 3) It did NOT come with screws. Fortunately, the original screws were in good shape and were reused on the new fixture. I would buy again. I have no idea how it compares to other non-OEM assemblies. Hope this review helps someone!

So the product does bulk out a little bit more than the OEM product like others I've mentioned, but I was able to install this and seal it up fine. Really stopped some of the leakage that I knew was coming in through the roof of my truck from the old light.LED lights aren't as bright as they probably could be but never really needed too much brightness in the bed. They do outperform the OEM as far as brightness and it's a white light too.Very easy to install

After a few trips to the carwash i noticed water marks inside my truck's ceiling. I figured the old light housing was probably leaking considering the trucks age and so i ordered this one.Installation was effortless of course. What took most of the time was figuring out why it wouldn't light up. The connection part on the wiring is a bit smaller than the female connector of the truck's. On this product, I had to slide the wire to the outer ends so it made connection when i plugged it into my truck's harness. Before figuring this out i thought that i received a faulty product. Turns out all is well and it works flawlessly. Removing the old was effortless, installing the new one effortless. Everything seems to have fitted like OEM. No complaints from me. Any surprises, I'll be back to update this review. That's all folks.

Don't buy waste of time cargo and brake lights only work when you move the wires around bought 2 of them returning both and paid the big bucks for a Recon with lifetime warranty
