I'm a 70 year old grandma with only a little experience around vehicles and maintenance of same; however, I had a broken cargo brake light on my 2016 Silverado 3500HD. My young (40ish) son was within hollering distance, if I needed him. I didn't. The part of the task that took the longest was finding the correct fitting for the two screws that hold the assembly tight to the gasket (Tors). A new gasket is included with the new assembly. The screws are not; so hang on to them. The wiring plug was a little obstinate, but I prevailed. Soon, I had the new brake light on and secured, as well as tested. I'm so pleased! I learned something new and got a good deal on a swell LED brake light!

Looks good and light is bright. Fit is terrible. It does not fit like OEM. Clips will not click into place like the original. The 1/4†gap left between light and the body of the truck is terrifying! Actively looking for a replacement immediately. I wouldn’t buy this if I saw this review. Garbage.

Light arrived quickly as described and pictured. I did have some questions for the seller and their customer service was very prompt and incredibly proactive. My only real complaint is that it does not fit as "flush" as the OEM but unless you look closely you cannot see it and it has no leaking issues on my 2014 Silverado (side note I had ordered a separate gasket as well).

I read some reviews that complained about leaking, but here in rainy Florida I’ve had zero problems. It took me less than 15 minutes to install. I spent more time looking for the right size star lug to unscrew the old light. Just clean the area well before installing and the you won’t have leaks.
