I have to admit I am one of the individuals that has been using my grow domes as covers for my unused Aerogarden grow slots. Newbie fail as those allow light into the reservoir and can promote algae growth. The small plastic caps also catch the fan I am using to pollenate my tomato vines. After seeing the price of the OEM plugs I started looking for generic ones and am very please to report these work great. They are flush but yet can easily be removed by hooking your finger nail underneath them and effortlessly lifting them off. Overall I'd rate these as 5/5 stars for being a high quality product that does everything the OEM plugs do.

I've seen people use golf balls but I don't have any, so I bought those. Fits perfectly for my Aerogarden. I recommend the kit.

Pros - Fit Aerogarden units well, totally flat, low fit, PERFECT to glue things like figurines onto to decorate the garden. (then then act as handles to take the lid off too which is a win/win)Cons - Fits a bit too snug, I had to pop them off by pushing from the underside of the bed.

I find the fit perfect into my Areogarden farm xl perfectly and are easy to install and remove.I made my own at first which worked okay but these are a better solution when you have plants already growing and need to move things around.

These work in my aerogarden as well as my other (no-name) hydroponic unit for considerably less than the name brand version.
