I have plants that go outside in the spring and summer and indoors for the winter.I got these when there was a flash sale on them and after I read a plant article where they advised to water your potted plants from the roots or middle.Plus I thought this might be a good way to avoid fungus gnats since it would avoid getting the few top layers of the sand and soil wet.Aside from being adorable the durability of them is great.I first made a hole in the soil with garden spike so that the tube wouldn’t fill and back up. I also keep them in the same position and use a watering can to fill them which makes it easy. The water doesn’t instantly drain out and it’s kinda fun to watch how thirsty my plants are. They seem much happier as they’re remaining more green this winter with less leaf droppings. Now it is the month of February, they’ve been indoors for 6 months and I haven’t seen one fungus gnats. So it’s a win/win.

I love these little glass mushrooms—they're absolutely adorable and look great in the pots. The cap can be a bit tricky to put on, but it's essential; without it, the water drains too quickly. Since I’m not great at watering my plants, these are a lifesaver, helping me ensure they’re taken care of even when I forget. Plus, the clear glass makes it easy to see the water level, serving as a helpful reminder to add water.

there is no controlled draining mechanism so when you fill these they will empty within a few minutes.

These are tricky. When I first placed them in my pots the water completely drained through. I was a little concerned 😟 about my plants being over watered. You have to first place a piece of paper towel on the bottom of the tip and fill with water and use plug after. Its the same concept as when drinking from a straw and if you put ypur finger on the top of it thd drink will sit there once you let go the water completely drains out. I placed all of mine Straight in for less watering. They are beautiful not cheap at all. Again just tricky use so I hope my experience helps

These mushroom-shaped self-waterers are super cute and made for a great gift. I can’t speak to how well they work since I gave them away, but they looked lovely and felt well-made. A fun and unique addition to any plant setup!

They hold very little water, which seeps out immediately. No point at all in getting these.

This was a gift but was well received. The best feature is the ability to fill the globes from the top rather than having to remove a globe, invert it to fill then quickly invert it again and put back into the soil. The other guests were interested in the globes.

Even with cloth and stoppers only last a few days - cute but not useful
