Comes with all of the necessary seals and nuts. High grade plastic. I easily installed it into a plastic planter that I converted into a bird bath. I needed the spigot at the bottom so I can dump roughly 3 gallons of water out easily so I can clean and refill. I've had it on now for a while and it works like a champ. No leaks or issues after quite a few weeks.

This valve although made from plastic, is very study and very thick. You will need at least a 1.5 inch hole saw to install. The shut off valve operates very smoothly. I liked that I only need one wrench to install - as it makes the process much easier. Tips when installing: remove the gasket and wrap teflon tape generously around the threads then replace the gasket. Do the same same for the threads on the valve piece. Since I was attaching it to curved surface (55 gallon plastic barrel), I was worried that I would have trouble making a leak proof seal, but the teflon tape makes all the difference. Time will tell how long it lasts outdoors in the sun, but the build quality gives me confidence.

This works well for what I needed. It definitely has a cheap feel to it being all plastic but for the price it works great and doesn’t leak very impressed!

You can't beat the price on this quality set. I have installed 2 rain barrels now at the back of my shed, and one split and needs replacing, so I ordered this spigot to attach to a new barrel. It came with all the pieces, plastic but high quality and the inclusion of the plumber's tape is helpful too in the event you do have trouble getting the leaks gone. Also, the string included is genius for getting the two pieces lined up within the barrel, as it can be tricky to reach. I do suggest having someone help you, as it can be extra tricky trying to do it by yourself without being able to see both sides at once.

This was fairly easy to install on a 30 gallon barrel. It may have been easier if I was thinner, but I was able to get this installed, and have it for supplying water for camping spots. It sealed well, no leaks.

My first attempt at a spigot for my rain barrel didn't work great. It cost too much and leaks. But this think just works! It has everything you need other than the barrel!
