First off, I am very skeptical of ordering a chair off the internet that I have never sat in. After two months of trying to find one of these chairs to sit in before buying it, I finally caved in and ordered one. I am very glad that I did. I will try and break down this review into its pieces now.Assembly: I read many reviews stating that assembly was hard with this chair. It took me all of five minutes, and that was with reading the directions twice. A little WD-40 on the dovetail, and let gravity do the rest (letting the chair drop from about 10 inches off the ground onto the ground in the upright position a couple of times per side).Construction: While I just got this last weekend, it looks and feels like heavy plastic construction that should last for years. I have had my share of plastic chairs that bend/break over the years, and I do not see that happening with this chair.Comfort: First off, it is a hard plastic chair, so expecting it to be soft and plush is ridiculous. That being said, I am a long-legged 6'-2" 270 lbs. and have a Pillsbury dough-boy physique, and this chair is an incredibly comfortable rocker for me. The only slight modification I would make is to lengthen the seat bottom, but that is due to my extra long legs and I should add that it isn't uncomfortable. The back is high enough that I can lean my head back and rest it on the chair while rocking. It is even wide enough that I can sit my wide bottom on the seat while wearing my holster, and nothing rubs!Conclusion: If you are wondering about whether this chair is nice, well it definitely is. I am a natural born skeptic of everything, but I give this chair a 5 star rating for what it was designed for. A solidly built, all weather, comfortable rocking chair that larger people can comfortably fit in.

The chair assembles in 5 minutes or less. For a person over 300 lb, the seat is both comfortable and reassuring, that it won't fail under a heavy load. I'm impressed with its durability, being weatherproof, and that it was easy to assemble. If you like sitting back and enjoying nature, I'd recommend this chair. Comfortable enough, and sturdy enough, to enjoy watching the seasons change Outdoors.

This chair is solid. It's comfortable and spacious for sitting in. It was assembled in under five minutes. The key to assembling, aside from using some lubricating substance, is to have another person hold one piece upright while the second person holds and places the next piece to slide into the track. We did use a rubber mallet to gently tap down the back of the chair down as far as it could go which was less than an inch. We are VERY PLEASED and now I told hubby I want one for an early birthday present since the first one was his birthday present.

I initially had a lot of problems putting the chair together. My brother came over and quickly figured out I was doing it wrong. Once we knew how it went it slipped into place. So Id say the problem is that the instructions were not very clear. Also though Id tried to contact seller before asking my brother for help them never bothered to respond. So customer support is non-existant.that being said, the chair is very comfortable. Both my brother and myself are over-sized human beings and this chair is nice. My brother also wants one! Easy to wash. Personally would rather have a high end wooden chair like this of same shape but those are not affordable. So Im very glad to have found this chair. Sit on my patio, smell the roses and enjoy the day rocking away.My brother and I range between 225 and 290 and between 5'7 and 6'3. We both agree the chair is very comfy. I think this chair could hold someone who weighed much more than we do. It seems very sturdy!You will need an extra set of hands to help put it together. It slides easy once you get it right but this old girl found it unwieldy for one person and my brother needed my help as well. One to hold in place and the other to slide pieces together.

Just got these. My husband is 6'5" and about 350 lbs. We needed something large enough and with a high weight capacity for the patio. Hard to find! These rockers stated they hold up to 600 lbs. He is much more comfortable in these. They seem to have a wider seat and are surprisingly comfortable with a high back. I will use seat cushions to spruce them up.I'd gave it a 5, because there were a few scratches as if by a straight blade maybe done while packing. We will keep them. Other than that, in very good shape and super easy to put together.I recommend them.9-20-24

These chairs are great! Super durable, my first 2 chairs have spent close to 30 years in the hot Florida sun, and are still useable. They are heavy duty and easily support my 6'5" 300lbs carcass without issue. Assembly is super easy, 4 pieces that slide together without tools, just put a little squirt of liquid soap in the slots and they slide together without problems. Easy to clean, and they hold up great in the sun. The seller has great customer service as well!
