While working on a fortification project for my Warhammer 40K forces, I hit upon the idea for an Imperial building where every Imperial symbol had been desecrated by hammering "Hexagrammatic" pinions into everything. When I looked for a hexagon cross section rod, I found this plastruct product. It is exactly what I was looking for: a plastic rod that is compatible with the glue I use, that clearly has 6 sides that I can highlight with the paintjob. If I ever need more of this material, I know what I will search for first!

This is some pretty awesome .040-inch hexagonal rod. Glues up good with model cement. Rock on, plastic rod. Whee, go you!
