I bought this for my 3 grandkids, ages 5, 7 & 9. A bit challenging for my active 5 year old grandson but the other two are picking it up with a wee bit of adult help. The value is excellent and the animal designs are adorable.

My eight-year-old enjoyed this very much. The materials are not particularly high-quality, but for first time cross stitch it’s perfect. The designs and yarn are colorful, and the patterns are fairly simple. It’s definitely a craft that needs adult assistance until they get the hang of it.

The needles are so weak and the yarn splits if you look at it, but the canvases are cute. My kids have had fun with it but definitely order metal yarn needles too.
