Martingale Collars with Quick Snap Buckle
This martingale-style dog collar has an added quick-release snap buckle for easier on and off. Martingale collars are safer and more comfortable than choke chains that are always tight. Used with a leash or with your hand, the martingale collar tightens when your dog pulls and loosens when he stops, so it’s only tight when it needs to be. These collars give you greater control and reduce the risk of your dog slipping out and escaping.

This is a very sturdy, well-constructed martingale, breakaway collar. The turquoise color is bright and vibrant. The fact that it is a martingale collar, yet still with a clip fastener that can breakaway if a pup gets hung up on something. This doesn’t lessen the effectiveness of the martingale. Only excess torsion or pressure of a dangerous amount will cause the clip to release. Much better than martingale collars that are solid piece in circumference- which can lead to an accidental strangulation.My dog generally wears medium collars and harnesses, so I got one that he was just on the smaller end of… it ended up being almost too large. The next size down I was worried would be just too snug on the loosest setting. IEnded up getting it snug enough that it doesn’t come off easily, and yet still tightens effectively when using the martingale feature when he wants to pull, or I need to make a correction.Measure carefully, and if your dog is on the highest size end go up to the next size collar.

Well made, sturdy, and looks good as well. Strong stitching, and buckle. Fits comfortably around the dogs neck, and has a section that constricts slightly to give gentle correction, and control, during training, or walking. That section can also be used as a handle when holding the dog without a leash. Have used several brands, but this one is the best so far. Great value.

This works great for my 85 pound dog. The handle is easy to reach in case I need to use it to keep my dog in line. He loves to chase cats so occasionally it does happen. But we are learning and this training collar is working its magic.

Collar fits very well for our 55lb Lab. Love the reflective stitching as our dog is black and at night, it gives her a chance to be seen when walking her. While I figured out a way to attach an O-ring to one of the harness rings, would be nice if there was already on the collar, Having said that, however, quite a great value for a very well made harness.

I've looked at several martingale collars, and most have heavy chains for the flexible part of the collar. This one uses the same material as the rest of the collar which makes it more comfortable for my dog but still effective.
