Pocket door was completely dislodged from track, on the floor. A little roughhousing from preschoolers was way too much for the factory assembly. This kit has roller bearing cores, a secure locking latch on the door top plates, and much more ROBUST fasteners. Couldn't be more satisfied.

House was built in 1993 and my old pocket door broke. This kit had everything I needed to fix it.

I was unable to use this item, because the rollers did not fit my track. That’s on me for assuming they were universal. But since I had already opened the package, I looked it over. It has a little slider that, once installed, can be moved over to keep the pin from sliding out of the track. Great idea, since that’s why I’m replacing the old set.However, I was only able to move one of these sliders, and that was sitting at a coffee table, and using a tool for leverage. I have to think that trying to flip that slider when it is installed is going to be a challenge; I couldn’t move the other one at all. The slider was fastened in with a brad, not a screw, so it couldn’t be loosened.No instructions, no `email for support’ included with the items. This might have just been a random overly-tight unit, so YMMV.

In moving a Johnson sliding door system in my shop I last a part and damaged another. This kit replaced both, working well with the O.E.M. parts at a significantly lower price than a similar Johnson kit.

Worked perfectly to secure a frequently used pocket door. It opens and closes smoothly and is very secure. Easy install, too!
