It was the right part and was true Polaris. But for $50+ for a threaded rod one would think they wouldn't drop it on the ground and crush the threads on one end. So I had to take 6 minutes while I dressed it up with a file and a die but its a definite lack of care when a damaged product goes out the door. It was not damaged in shipping-it was incredibly well packaged and arrived on time. This was dropped at the warehouse or mfg plant.
