My parents gave us our extra large Polder ironing board years ago and they had it for a few years prior. It’s so awesome but it’s cover was really bad and morning and had burnt on starch etc. This cover fit perfectly! Looks great and seems just as durable as the original. The color is a nice gray with a slight shimmer/metallic look. It’s lightly padded but I decided to keep my original cushions underneath it as well and it still fit well. I’m super happy with my purchase and was so happy to have been able to find a replacement cover and not have to invest in a new ironing board that I know would not be as heavy duty as the one we have. *we do A LOT of ironing!*

This cover is much thicker and appears to be more durable than the lightweight cover supplied with the ironing board we bought at Costco. The only concern is while this cover does fit, it is just barely wide enough to wrap around the two long sides--an extra inch on the width would have provided a better fit. Recently, I noticed Costco now sells the same ironing board upgraded with a heavy-use cover.

I'll admit I don't know what brand ironing board I have (it's many years old), but I measured carefully before purchasing and made sure to buy a corresponding cover. But I just put this on and it fits so poorly - the wide end is too long and bunches, the sides barely make it far enough to grip, and it was a struggle to fit the narrow end over the board. It's lumpy in places and the pad is so thick and spongy. Some people might like that, but I find it makes it hard to get a good firm press, especially with things like darts, pleats or creases.I saw the overall high rating and chose to purchase this, but I wish I had read the actual reviews first - many people have documented these same issues.

Good cover ! This is the one to buy for oversized boards and if you don't mind that it doesn't have any print on it. It works really well. I only iron maybe a couple of days every few months or when I need a piece to be pressed. So hopefully, it doesn't wear out fast. If so, I will buy another of this kind.

This is a good product. The cover face is a heavy cotton. The padding is thick and creates a nice ironing surface. However, I purchased this product for a Polder Ironing Board and it doesn’t fit properly. It is at least 3 inches too short in length. If you have it covering the top of the board, the bottom is short by several inches. Although the width does cover the sides, it too should be another several inches wider to fit well. 3 stars for the overall quality of the item—Zero stars for product compatibility with other Polder products.

Polder ironing board is larger and wider than normal. So you need this board cover. It fits perfectly.
