I've been using a blade coffee grinder for a while and a manual burr grinder, so I decided to take a chance on this device since it was on sale.First off, if you are looking for a high end grinder that works fast and takes up at least 6 times the counter space, this isn't the grinder for you. That being said, for the space savings and cost savings, this thing works great for dark and medium roasts. I had a lot of difficulty with light roast beans since they are so dense, but I was able to get through it by adding a little bit at a time and grinding at a 45 degree angle so the beans go in slow.Unjamming the device was relatively easy by turning the adjustment ring to fine and back to coarse until the beans compressed or cracked a bit more. This can take a few tries and you may need to empty the chamber of the unground coffee beans first. The grind consistency is pretty uniform and it did a batch of medium fine (about 10 out of 15 on the grind selection ring) with a single button press with time to spare.Charging took about an hour to complete our of the box, but I wasn't checking it frequently and I didn't have it on a fast USB C charger.I have not tried brewing coffee in the cup, but it seems like it would work just fine.Pros: small footprint, portable grinder, would be great for taking to the office or for travel, easy to use, has external grind size selection, relatively quiet operation, consistent grind.Cons: gets jammed with light roast/dense beans, can make a bit of a mess when resting the top portion on a surface while taking out the grounds (this can be mitigated with a small saucer or napkin)Overall, I recommend this grinder if you need the counter space and aren't going to be grinding light roast coffee. It has a nice appearance and performs well.

Nice grinder when it works. Constantly have to charge. Would not purchase again.

Steel compared to aluminum bulid gives this grinder a lot of weight. They should list the amount of watts required to charge this little jobby. I would use 100w wall unit to charge it bcz a typical phone wall unit is gonna only give 20w.The grinding speeds are not clear to me. Does Fine mean use a FINE bean texture or does Fine mean any texture of bean will result in a Fine texture after grinding ? Does Coarse mean use a course textured Bean ?

As other reviewers have stated, when you pull the cup off the bottom, the only way to set the grinder down is to dump grounds all over the counter which is a bit frustrating. My biggest complaint is that the "coarse" setting is still as fine as, if not finer than, a standard drip machine grind. I use a French press to make coffee, so using coffee ground this finely causes some sludge and is technically not giving me the full flavor profile of the coffee.I do like that it has an automatic shutoff, so I can set it to grind and then go about other morning business without worrying about it. It's also on the quieter side of mechanical grinders, which isn't saying much because they're all loud, but I don't feel like I'm waking the neighbors with it. I also appreciate that it comes with a measuring scoop. All in all, not a bad value for the money, but I'd look elsewhere if, like me, you want something to give you coarsely ground coffee.

I use this to coffee grinder for my espresso machine, and in the beginning I found it great: has a small foot print, a good design, and 15 grinding settings. It's good for travel also, until it practically stopped working out of the blue. After roughly 3 months os use (once a day: I just get my coffee in the morning) it started stoping during the grinding process, apparently the coffee beans get stuck between the grinding blades and I had to shake it vigorously to get it going again. After some time it become more and more difficult to get the grinder back after it get stuck, to the point I cannot use it anymore. It's fully charged, and I cleaned it after every use, so there's no reason for this malfunctioning, other than poor quality!

Efficient, good grind quality, easy to clean, takes up almost no counter space. A good value.

Where to begin? It doesn't charge with a USB-C to C cable, so I can't simply plug it into my phone charger or laptop charger. The insides were absolutely coated with plastic dust, I cleaned what I could but it's not made to be disassembled so I'd probably end up eating a lot of extra plastic. The lid doesn't quite fit on the cup part, when it so easily could be made to.You can't see how much coffee has been ground without unscrewing the bottom. It grinds extremely slowly even on the coarsest setting. You can't easily grind coffee into anything besides the flimsy proprietary brewing basket thing, or the cup itself. Most likely both since there's no seal between the brewing basket and the cup, and the grinder drops the grinds right on the edge. While you're using that cup, the grinder is sitting somewhere without a bottom spilling coffee grounds every time it's moved.
