UPDATE: i have owned for quite a while now and wanted to follow up.-- Yes, great bang for the buck. Sensitivity good.---CON(s) -DO NOT get in habit of putting these on/off by grabbing the headphone cups !They rotate on a small plastic rod that may break. I have broken BOTH sides and a pain to fix viaepoxy or insertion of molten steel rod. Putting back together again is painful. To circumvent this problem,all you need to do is get in the habit of grabbing by the HEAD BANDS to insert off/on the head.Better yet, there is a $20 model that looks like it does not have this problem.-if- in your budget, the more expensive headphones that use audio notification of frequency and low battery are soooo much more handy. You want to HEAR the frequency you are on - NOT remove the phones to look at the digital display. Also set/remove of frequency on something like 3M worktunes is so much more easy.If you want to hear ambient noise (like someone addressing you) these are great. I DO NOT recommend for lawn tractor.I think I criticized these for water susceptability- NOT so. When the batteries go down, the radio no longer responds but, best i can tell, these phones are no worse than others re: moisture.--- my older review ---This was less than 20 bucks replacing a more expensive pair.Sensitivity and volume are excellent. I live in an extremely rural envirnoment so signals can be 'challenging'.No problems.The price was hard to beat and sound quality is outstanding.My two 'complaints' -1) I prefer analog sound control.2) If you are looking to cancel ambient noise, these are not the best - very lightweight.Update after a month of usage:1) DO NOT buy for noise cancellation- like riding mower2) DO NOT use in high humidity. I like to wear in hot tub --but headphones can not take the humidity.3) RF sensitivity remains good. As long as you are not subject to the two restrictions above these are a great buy.

I purchased these and a couple of other brands in December for a loved one in memory care. These headphones fit him best, so I later ordered a back-up pair. (The other brands were so small, I wondered if I'd mistakenly ordered headphones made for children! But no, they weren't.) I like that these are lightweight and fit him pretty well after being adjusted to the maximum length. I might need to tape them in place at that length though since they don't seem to stay put. The sound seems very good. Unfortunately, they didn't make it more than about 2 months before they fell apart. In fairness, I don't know what happened since I wasn't there, but his other pair was much sturdier and held up great, just too small. So, good thing I purchased a backup pair! I just ordered a few more backup pairs, but I noticed this seller has raised the price by almost $2 (that's more than 10%!!) since December. If anything, the price should go down given how flimsy they are. If these keep falling apart AND the seller keeps raising the price, I will definitely seek out a different seller or a better product. But I'm happy I've found something for him for now.

Gave this to my sister as a gift She really likes them and I;m happy with the fax that It holds the stations that you program into it even if the batteries fail.When you put new batteries in you don't have to reprogram your favorite stations all over again. Now that's worth saying something about. I was amazed when we had to change the batteries .That simply blew my mine. My sister said it hasn't lost any of the channels signals no matter which way she turns her head ,or what room she;s in. The sound is very clear and we like the size of it too. It;s comfortable on ,and the antenna is covered in a rubber like material . I think makes it safe for dosing off when listening, I mean its flexible[the antenna] so there is no problem with it braking . For me this was a excellent gift idea and I recommend this item to everyone.only keep in mine it 's really not so much for music if you want to hear bass ,it doesn't have much of that .It's good for listening to sports and talk program. My sister likes it so much I'm considering getting one for myself.

Wife enjoyed the no carry radio while walking. Worked great the first few weeks, so great that we ordered a back up unit. About three weeks later the first one didn't respond to the off/on button, had to take the batteries out to turn it off and put them back in to get the sound back on, then it just didn't work at all, contacted seller, no response. The second radio the same problem, worked at first without a problem then the push buttons control panel didn't respond, again had to take the batteries out to turn it off. Sound & reception great but the push buttons control panel no longer functions . Would not recommend this product at all, as they say you pay for what you get, should not have purchased the second one so soon, should have waited at least a month to make sure it worked properly. NOT a Happy Camper.

Purchased for my husband who likes to listen to music while cutting the grass (riding lawn mower). Lost his expensive pair, so I thought I would give these a try since so reasonable (Amazon Prime Day find). He likes them, easy to use, and sound is good enough for him to enjoy cutting the grass while protecting his ears. Wish I had bought 2, in case he loses these! Would recommend!
