A rod end bearing, also known as a Heim joint, is a mechanical articulating joint. Such joints are used on the ends of control rods, steering links, tie rods, or anywhere a precision articulating joint is required, and where a clevis end. The advantage is that the ball insert permits the rod or bolt passing through it to be misaligned to a limited degree.

Finish: The spherical surface of the inner ring with chromium plating and the rod body surface with zinc-plated.

Bought to replace the lower hub arms on your standard 2001 Club Car lift kit and fit exactly like the original hardware. Defiantly more heavy duty than the originals so hopefully they won’t bend like the last set. I was even able to use the jam nuts off the old set so they are a direct replacement for my setup.

Machining quality is good, the move freely without end play, however mine came with incorrect nuts for the hiem joints, I ordered 3/8 inch joints which is what i got but the included nuts are 1/2 inch still usuable as 3/8 nuts aren't hard to come by but still a little disappointing

The only thing is that the jam nuts didn’t come with them so I had to fine some at the auto parts store otherwise there good
