Easy to adjust, works nicely with a digital micrometer. I was concerned that with the long digital readout window and the ratchet knob on the end of the barrel it would be prone to tipping, but that proved for me not to be the case. The jaws are padded and did not mar the frame of het micrometer. Very handy.

It holds my micrometers (1/10000th) just fine, so I can have both of my hands available to work with a micrometer and not to transfer heat. It is not a Mitutoyo stand base (but I mount their micrometer on it) but you pay ~5x less. I like it.

Great value, the finish is nice. There small imperfections and burrs on the threaded holes for the tensioning nuts but nothing that makes it unusable.
