I've water fowled for 35+ years and first used string when I started, approx. 30 years ago. I switched over to this particular type of line with clips to the decoys and ferrels to secure the strap weights. I just replaced all 3 dozen floating Mallards, and once again used this type of line. There is no rotting, no tangling, and if you wrap your line around the bottom of a floating decoy for storage, there's some stretch to the line, (without lenghting or tearing) to aid in the wrapping length.

Defiantly not very strong and I returned it. Maybe perfect for puddle ducks but not sea duck hunting.

This line is super super weak. I’ve had it the last part of this season and had the line break on 3 decoys. Literally broke. Never again.

It’s good decoy cord. Hasn’t broken or stretched prematurely. I use decoy crimps to hold the decoy to the cord and the cord to the weight cause it makes it look a lot cleaner and you wont have to worry if your knots are going to hold or not. Also great as a utility line for stuff around the house and yard.
