I use this moss to keep humidity up in my reptile enclosures. It’s super soft, but wear gloves when first working with it because this moss can stain the skin yellow or green. It’s harmless, but if you like clean fingers & nails—save time by handling this moss with gloves when building your bio-active reptile enclosure. Or live vivarium, fairy garden, etc. This moss is extra versatile—perfect for gardening nerds or exotic pet keepers.The quality is excellent, and the quantity is well-worth the price.Its ease of use is simple—breaking up easily to be applied to a thin layer of waterproof silicone caulk for vertical application.(Be sure to let the enclosure you’re building cure and air the silicone fumes out for *at least* 24 hours before introducing your intended resident into their new home.)This soft moss is a perfect finishing touch, perfect for making a beautiful microcosm of a humid environment for yourself or animal friends. If you work with live plants (and/or animals that rely on them,) I highly recommend this moss. Though I do not recommend this moss for any animal that requires drier, arid climates.The moss will retain moisture for nearly indefinite periods of time. So even if you rarely water it, it can survive. And there’s no undesirable odor, either. The natural smell of the moss will blend seamlessly with the other live plants you are working with. I’m new to building bio-active reptile enclosures, but this moss is definitely a favorite of mine now.

This is really nice moss. I don’t know why others say it smells funny. It’s earthy like a plant smell which disappears over a day. It’s the perfect filler for my tree. It hides the lights I put in the pot & looks very pretty. I highly recommend if you’re looking for moss this was ideal!

Am using product for the base of my orchid plants. Have also used at the base of ivy topiary. Adds beauty to these indoor plants and I imagine some practical benefits like keeping the soil moist in between watering. Packaged with great care I was surprise to see 2 layers in the box. This is the real thing and I highly recommend!

Product is fine and the look came out perfectly but the product is little bit crushed in the package when I received it. It is so moist and delicate. Texture is so smooth. I would suggest keep this product away from toddlers because it can be damaged so easily. Overall looks good after final adjustments.

This is my first time purchasing pillow moss and I’m SOLD! It adds a fabulous finishing touch to any arrangement. I used it to add to my nearly natural 3.5’ tree ( Amazon) and I love the realistic result.The moss comes packaged beautifully and it is very fresh and lush.I would highly recommend purchasing.

I ordered green B and the quality and color of the moss arrived is great but there are a lot of smaller and broken pieces that I am not able to use except to fill in the gaps. The moss pillow size is also not as big as in the photo. This is okay for my moss bowl project but I am also planning to make a large moss wall art and the moss size from this seller is just not big and consistent enough for my project. Will not buy from them again unless I’m doing a smaller project.

Product received was verywell packed. Unfortunately the color of the moss was a little too green. If you are looking for a more natural moss, pick a shade lighter.
