I was impressed with the quality and weight of the handles. They look great and when you use them they feel very sturdy. I went from builder grade handles to these and it really made a difference. I have gotten compliments on the upgrade. Great value.

Decent, heavyweight locksets and deadbolts, not hollow and cheap feeling, but not the easiest to install and get the square decorative plates square and straight, and unforeseen issue of working with square vs. traditional round rosettes. With the square knob plate and the square deadbolt plate so close together, it's very obvious if either of them is not straight and level.We got the set of two complete locksets with matching keys for the doors we use regulary but will skip the French doors that lead out to the deck as we very rarely use them. The front door required a completely different style of lockset, so unfortunately its key will not match, but we never enter that way anyhow. Buying the set of two matched locksets gave us 12(!!) matching keys... wow!The doorhandle/lockset actually went in fairly easily, but the deadbolt requires you to remove two tiny allen set screws, one which holds the interior deadbolt lock knob on and one which holds the interior square plate over the inner hardware of the locking mechanism. Set screws - especially tiny ones that are in hard to access locations - are a large pain in the posterior. The one on the knob is straightforward, but still tiny and easy to lose, but the one that holds the square black plate on is on the bottom, tough to see and with no space to maneuver to tighten it back up. It's cursing intensive to install...At the suggestion of another reviewer, I used a drop or two of Loctite on ALL the screws. This is difficult on allen screws at any time, but tiny ones in awkward locations are the worst. In addition, it is very difficult to tighten the set screw into the plate and keep the plate tight against the door; it wants to back away as you tighten the screw, and this leaves a gap between the bottom edge of the plate and the surface of the door, so it looks bad. So far, none of the screws are loosening, so the Loctite was a good suggestion.It required far more time and swearing than any lockset I've ever installed before, and it wore my fairly extensive patience thin. Once done it looks pretty nice, and we replaced all of our other old bright brass interior door locksets with black interior privacy sets that look just like these (but without a keyway), so these two doors needed replaced to match. Absent that matching issue, I may have returned these.

The first thing I noticed was that these assemblies are twice as heavy as the round door handles they replaced, but they felt very solid and operate very smoothly, the old (round door handles) would catch at times and made it tough to open with 70 odd year old hands, especially if it was raining and the handles were wet. These lever handles are a 1,000 % improvement, even our granddaughter was impressed, plus we now have six keyed alike entries as opposed to two different keys to confuse.

Product looks great and has a nice weight but the dead bolts were not usable. There is a very small screw that needs to be released from an alan wrench and these were stripped so I was not able to use the dead bolts on both sets. As they have just been installed I will see how well the handles hold out for.
