I wanted to split the line coming out of my RO filter system and send a line to the refrigerator. The fittings in this are all 1/4" so I had to buy a separate T fitting (3/8, 1/4, 3/8), but what came in this kit was everything else I needed (and more). That one extra fitting costed about 40% of the cost of this entire kit.Now... more expensive fittings don't have the little collar that you need to attach to each opening of these quick-connect fittings, but it's not a big deal. I'll take the great price over a minor inconvenience.

At first I was going to leave a negative review, because the connectors leaked. Then I gave it another try to discover that when you slide the tubing into a connector, it's not locked. It might feel like it's in as far as it can go, but it's not. You have to shove it in more and THEN it's locked. After that, no more leaks. So keep that in mind (if you didn't already know), the first time you think it's locked, it isn't. Shove it in farther! The only thing missing was the outlet shut off valve, which I realized I needed after trying to hook up the 1/4" line to the water beneath my sink. I think I have 3/8" outlet, so I had to buy the valve separately. Make sure you don't need that valve before buying this kit, cause it'll double the cost having to buy it later, or just $7 more if you buy it with the kit (which is available on Amazon). But now my water line is all ready to go.

Works as intended. It did have an awful smell to it. That has disappeared after being unbagged for a bit. Was exactly as I needed to extend from my RO to my furnace humidifier.
