This beauty is extremely well built. Its coarse grind is wonderful and it outputs more pepper than a truck driver puts out curse words.What more could I ask for? Worth every penny and I look forward to having it for a long time.Update. I learned that you can continue to adjust the grind past the numerical units. Meaning you can get it super coarse or super fine. Now I am even happier with this purchase

This is the one to get. Yes, it's expensive. However, it absolutely crushes every other pepper grinder I've ever owned and has yet to disappoint.Huge amounts of pepper can be freshly ground in seconds. Something like 4 or 5 turns gives you a full half-teaspoon of pepper. Astonishing.The grinder looks and feels heavy and well-made, and is absolutely worth every penny. One note: if your recipe calls for a certain amount of ground pepper, it means the ground pepper in plastic containers in the supermarket that have been sitting there for weeks. FRESH ground pepper packs a punch: maybe use a little less than the recipe calls for, and adjust to taste!

This is actually the second pepper grinder I bought. The first one I gotten for myself several years ago. It has metal teeth, adjustable, grind settings, add a cap on the bottom to keep it from leaving little pepper rings all over your counter! Wonderful tool. Liked it so much that I gifted one to my mother. I’m getting rave reviews. Pricey under normal circumstances, but it goes on sale a couple times a year. Perfect gift for any foodie.

I am so glad that I "settled" for this grinder instead. It saved me a considerable amount of money and it is fantastic. It grinds pepper uniformly, quickly and in copious amounts. A great find and yes, it feels substantial in my hands. It is solidly built. A++

I must of pissed away $200. Plus over the years on BAD pepper mills with good reviews! This one Is the real deal, a few genial turns and it rain pepper. Made of aluminum, and sturdy, good quality.

I've been obsessed with copious amounts of pepper since I was very young and I've been on the hunt for a pepper grinder that could deliver. This one can. It is beautifully machined and easy to grip. The grinder mechanism is so smooth that it will free-spin if the hopper is empty. A couple of easy turns and it could be too much pepper for some people. The grind size is so easy and accurate and it doesn't loosen up over time. It stays where you want it. My only complaint is the hopper size. With my pepper use, I have to refill every week.

Strong build, does a great job. Having the adjustment on the shaft is confusing for new users and it gets over tightened. Wish they made this with a crank handy on top, using the grip on the top slips easily even on a setting of 4.
