I searched high and low for these salt and pepper grinders. Someone I knew bought similar ones and it took me weeks to filter through the grinders of Amazon.They're super easy to use with customizable grinds, and the faucet styled handles are nice to turn even with greasy hands. I've had them for a couple months now and they still work beautifully. Some grinders are shy with the pepper but I've had no such problems with these.All in all beautiful and efficient grinders.

What fun! This is our third grinder set: the oldest was a Christmas gift to my fiance Eric (now husband) from my parents in about 1966. These grinders are a foot tall and made of beautiful, dark shiny wood. We used them so much that Eric had to refinish the pepper mill 20 years ago. The second set was a gift from our CA son, Brad. We admired these striped wooden mills 20 years ago in a restaurant in La Jolla and he ordered some for us. Later, Brad's wife got a similar pair, but the shape was not as nice as ours. So she tried to swap hers for ours! As if we would not notice!! We bought this pair --along with the tray-- for ourselves after seeing it in a restaurant in Rocky River Ohio. Only one of the three to also have a salt mill rather than just shaker. The set is perfect for our casual retirement life in our lake house. Can't help but wonder if these two will still be grinding strong 55 years from now!

I have difficulty gripping things because of arthritis. I purchased this because of the substantial top. It is very easy to use. It is also easy to fill because the top removes so easily. The top also goes back on easily. It's very easy to adjust the grind size. It can be adjusted from large to small and back to the large grind with ease. I recommend this item. Others on here have complained that theirs broke immediately. I did not have that experience.

Thought this was a wonderful and unique design for something we use every day. As another review pointed out the mechanism in the pepper mill is metal, but in the salt mill it is plastic. The pepper mill works great. And yes, I get that the salt will eat away at the metal, but they were right about the salt grinding being inconsistent. Realized you can't fill the salt mill too full because it seems too much makes it harder for the mill to function. It always leaves a ring of freshly ground fine salt on the table after use. Grinding its self takes a lot more effort that I'd expect from a salt mill. I've kept it because I like the way it looks but it is a disappointment.

This is the second set of day and pepper mills I bought of this brand. This set is great if your hands are weaker. Easy to turn.

I bought these for my mom when she had arthritis. Now as I am getting carpal tunnel issues I had to buy a set for myself! Work great and are easy to adjust. Some people have issues filling them. It’s tricky to keep the grind mechanism in place while filling, I just get an extra pair of helping hands from my kids or hubby. Highly recommended

The salt and pepper grinder set is beautiful to look at but sadly it is not functional. The cheap plastic breaks the second you try to open it to refill it. Even after multiple tries by multiple people, I am still not able to refill the pepper grinder. What a waste of money.

I love this pepper grinder because is clear so I can see when I need to refill before it goes completely empty and because is very easy to grind the pepper with the faucet like handle. I had one like this for over ten years and finally one of the inside plastic prong broke so I've been browsing pages after pages of pepper grinder from every website with no results until one day I tried again Amazon and found it! Sturdy and attractive.

The only thing that is not perfect is that you have to readjusted the grind after you refill. They are beautiful and so easy to use.

Buen producto, solo funciona para pimienta, lo quise utilizar para sal pero el recibimiento metálico de el molino se comenzó a desprender y se óxido un poco. desde que lo ocupo con pimienta no tengo mayor problema.
