It's easy to use, and wipes off quickly before I even wash it (to keep cheese out of the dishwater.) I don't have a dishwasher, so I don't know how that would affect the plastic, but it swishes clean with warm, soapy water in seconds. The last microwave omelet cooker I bought popped apart after a few uses and I couldn't fix it. This one is better!MY omelet recipe takes only about 1-1/2 minutes: Mix 2 eggs and a little water, pour in one side and close. Microwave 30 seconds, open and stir while in microwave, cook 30 more seconds. This time, take it out and dump your pile of chopped veggies, ham, cheese, etc. inside and pop the lid closed again. Cook another 30-35 seconds. The whole concoction slides right out onto a plate after a little nudge with a spatula. [Disclaimer: I'm NOT much of a cook, but this is simple, fast, and tasty, and a real chef could improve on my version.]

I love poached eggs but have never had luck making them in a pot of water... years ago had an egg poacher but it took up a lot of space and had many parts -- messy to use and to clean. This makes perfect poached eggs (you have to try variations on time to get them just right because each microwave is a little difference. 1 minute 18 seconds is perfect for 2 eggs for me)... The great thing about this is you put water in the yellow part and then actually drop the egg INTO THE WATER. Who knew? I found a video on YouTube! I use a pin to poke a hole in the yolk (so it won't explode) and then put it in the microwave. When you drain the water be careful (don't just dump it or you'll break the yolk and lose most of your egg!). Be gentle and then tip it back and drain again... I then put them on a paper towel just to get the last of the water. This is a great little device. It's small and simple. Great buy!

Seemed like a good idea but it makes a big mess in the microwave. I was careful and tried several preps: non-stick spray, a coating of oil, a tiny amount of water. The egg boiled over, or didn’t cook evenly, and clean up was a mess. I tried it 3 or 4 times and threw it away.

We can definitely say this is a "rottenegg" poacher, eggstreamly disappointing andNothing eggtraordinaire at all about it!!!We have definitely been looking for a poacher to change up the cook/taste and yet to have found one which poaches them correctly and this one has yet again let us down! 🥚Performance definitely skewed, after multiple times of adjusting the time the temp it definitely didn't cook correctly and then if you put it too high it would blow up and make a mess in the microwave but then again if you could have stated it wouldn't cook them correctly to running one side done one side not, it was a failure all the way around!And we have the microwave that's recommended exactly to use, we definitely modified other ways also!!!

I bought this on a whim after seeing CrazyRussianHacker use it. I figured it would be a cheap toy. It is a cheap toy but the darn thing works! I did it without adding a little milk and then with adding just a touch of milk. The cook time increases if you add even a little milk. However, both versions were fine. It makes an easy no mess omelette. I added sausage and cheese after the first cook cycle (1.5 minutes) and then when it was folded over, all the stuff stayed in although it wasn't a 'sealed' omelette. It presents well and is quick. Buy it. Just do it.

Sirve, pero no tan facilmente. Hay que encontrar el tiempo que se tiene que programar el horno para que no se salga el huevo del dispositivo plastico. Se tienen que hacer pruebas para calibrar el tiempo y las veces que hay que reiniciar para que el huevo se cocine y no se salga del envase.
