I recently purchased the Pro-LifT F-757G 2 Ton Floor Jack to keep in my trunk for emergencies, like a flat tire, and for the occasional DIY car repair. I'm really happy with it so far. I tested it out on my 2011 Sonata Limited, and it lifted the car without any issues. It felt stable and secure, which is really important when you're working under a vehicle.While the lift height isn't as extreme as some higher-end jacks, it's perfectly adequate for most basic tasks. For those rare occasions when I need a little extra clearance, I've found that a simple brick or a block of wood does the trick. Honestly, for the price, I'm more than willing to make that small compromise.This jack is compact enough to store easily in my trunk without taking up too much space, which is a huge plus. I have a mustang which sits annoyingly low to the ground and this slid under perfectly. It also propped it up enough so I could finally work on my car. Side note, under the cover plate on top of the jack is a rubber plug where the hydrolic oil gets added. You'll have to get your own, this doesn't come with any. You'll need a tool, a flat head screwdriver will work fine, in order to pry the plug up and then work it back in after you're done filling with oil. It's usually a good idea to give the jack a couple of pumps while filling to get rid of any air pockets. Put the plug back in after the oil is filled to the top, wipe away any spillage, then you're good to go. For anyone who may not know, hydrolic jack oil is essential otherwise your jack will not work. That goes for any jack.

I purchased this jack used from Amazon warehouse, the description stated only cosmetic damage and that it still functioned properly. This is inaccurate and clearly the jack was not in perfect working condition with rust showing where the hydraulic fluid had leaked before.When I first used the jack to lift the front of my crossover, it didn't go high enough to lift the front tires completely off of the ground. I was barely able to fit jack stands under the jacking points behind the front tires. The jack stands have a minimum height of 11 1/4" and I was barely able to use them at this height. I would've wanted more clearance under the vehicle but I made do for the simple oil change. After completing the oil change, I began to lift the vehicle again in order to remove the jack stands. This time, as I was pumping the jack I could see hydraulic fluid oozing out near the handle mount and the fluid started to leak out much faster as more pressure was applied to the jack. I rushed to remove the jack stands before the jack broke down completely. Another reason why you must use jack stands before doing any work under your vehicle.I may have received a damaged used product but reading all of the reviews leads me to believe that this is a common defect even when this item is new. Very disappointed that Amazon is allowing these jacks to be sold in this condition. It is a major safety hazard and people can be seriously injured by purchasing this product (especially the Amazon warehouse used items). I have returned this jack but it worries me that this may be resold as a used product to someone else down the line.

I may have only needed this for one job, but it worked just fine. Not sure how it would hold-up under heavy usage. Certainly worth the price.

But you get what you pay for. If you use the jack on uneven ground, you could bend the plates like I did.
