I ordered this collar in attempt to keep my Boxer/Pittie from pulling so much when we are on walks. I originally ordered a large but had to send it back and was immediately sent a smaller size for him. Love the look of it and that the prongs are covered with a rubber cover. I have never used a collar like this so I was scared it would hurt my dog but doesn't seem to at all... He has an extremely high prey drive and when he sees a squirrel on our walk it has been hard to control him. Although he still pulls some it's nothing like it used to be! Thanks so much!!

To those saying the prong ends are not rounded—/They’re supposed to be not rounded tips and the rubber caps are not supposed to be on it or you won’t have full impact with this type of collar. That’s just there for optional use. Many down this collar type, but many also fail to understand dogs too..when it’s used correctly it’s not a bad thing. When it’s used incorrectly then it’s a bad thing!You can remove the prongs individually to adjust the length.My dog is a chronic puller and I used this after I received it. My dog dramatically improved on pulling, when I was minimally re directing him on the leash with this on. The mail man was delivering mail to my mail box. We were on the side of house in the side yard. He knows the mail man and normally he would bolt off running to go say hi. But my dog pulling that hard, hurt my shoulders! Lol. This time first time using it —one slight pull back, my dog stood calmly. My dog Wasn’t upset or anything. It was actually a relief.You don’t yank on it too hard. I only have it on him when outside walking etc. but not on 24/7. People can have their own opinions and what may not be right for your views, that’s your preference. If it’s helping others correcting a problem, then let them be!

Very nice collar work great on the dog I like the fact that the outside fell crows around it and creates a reflector strip only complain I could say is I wish it came with extra rubber tips cause if you lose any there isn't any way to buy them I didn't find them online here.

Great product, well made! Had to return the size large and get the medium instead. Dogs neck is 17"+. For the large, we needed to remove 4 links and then it didn't fit properly. Med fit well!

Easy to set up. Helped with pulling and was reflective enough at night. The d rings could use a bit more sturdiness though. My 55lb husky ended up stretching them out attempting to chase a bunny

I use this product to teach my dogs not to pull me when on leash. The best part of this is that it does not look like a prong collar. I am a dg trainer and when I mention a prong collar to my clients they make these faces like I am barbaric for suggesting that for their dog. But when it comes down to having your dog pull you down, and breaking a bone or better yet, into traffic. Dosnt a prong collar sound less barbaric ? But this prong collar is great it looks like a regular collar, and easily removable and replaceple on the dog. It gets their attention when they pull by tightening and it loosens when they stop. They quickly learn that not pulling is more pleasurable then pulling .

Impossible to get collar and links on an off to adjust, does not function the way a prong collar should. just use the old style and make your own cover if you want the results prong collars give
