Easy to assemble and works great right out of the box. Plenty of power when you pull the trigger. Works just like I hoped it would. The only complaint (and the reason I deducted one star) is that it kept going out when in idle mode. Fortunately, it has a built in striker button that makes it very easy to re-light and get going again. I will use this a lot.I used Roundup to kill all of the weeds in our rock beds, but it leaves dead dry weds and grass standing everywhere. This quickly turned those to crispy black ash and after one breezy night our rock beds look clean and pristine! This is my new favorite yard tool.

I purchased this torch and tried starting it. Wouldn't start and investigation found that Piezo igniter was not creating a spark. Was able to ignite the torch with an outside source and the torch worked well. Contacted the seller and they replaced with any issues. The new one works perfectly.

I'm not a master at landscaping or lawn maintenance so I was looking for a way to deal with recurring weeds coming between our patio pavers and stumbled upon this guy. So far I'm very happy with the purchase as it did everything I wanted without messing with toxic chemicals and getting down on my hands and knees to pull a bunch of weeds. Whether this thing truly prevents weeds from coming back is unknown, but the process wasn't all that difficult to get rid of them (a bit time consuming to burn everything up but also incredibly satisfying). I did put some grout between our pavers so that will hopefully prevent the weeds from coming back too. I'm interested to see how this thing will work against ice along our walkways this winter.
