Clean the surface of the tank hole to make it smooth and flat.

Used this for a go kart gas tank and it was very easy to weld into place and looks fantastic. I was impressed that the cap is anodized aluminum as well.

Machining is what you expect for Chinese products. Comes with an o ring for a good seal but Threads were a bit rough. Welding was good though, the bottom aluminum was not coated.
