If you have a short bed truck, this unit works incredibly well preventing contact with your cab while making a tight turn.

Used a 3100 hitch for several years with no issues, would expect this hitch to work as well.

We had a catastrophic structural failure of a Pullrite Superglide in September 2024. The welds holding the upper plate to the shaft failed and the hitch, intact with the RV, smashed into the tailgate. The upper plate was welded to the shaft using four small tack welds. We hired a certified weld inspector identified that one weld was not intact, one was less than 25% and all four were not of adequate thickness. In contrast, the lower plate, which was undamaged, was attached to the shaft using full circumferential welds of significantly greater thickness and quality. Why Pullrite did not install full welds to secure the shaft to both plates is baffling and the sole cause of the failure. We provided pictures of the failed welds to Pullrite and they indicated that it was due to lack of maintenance and lubrication. We have always done the required maintenance and lubrication as required in the owner’s manual which is evident by the lack of wear and damage on the Way Tubes and the upper, lower and shaft wear plates. Pullrite made the “maintenance and lubrication†determination without investigating or factoring in the conditions of the wear plates and Way Tubes. Buyer beware our hitch worked for 5.5 years of frequent use with no issues until the welds suddenly failed. Pullrite refuses to stand by their product and they have inadequate design, poor manufacturing, lack of quality control and no concern for the safety of their customers and the public.

This fifth wheel hitch is 100% built engineered and sold in the USA. That hitch worked perfectly, I would definitely buy it again.

American Steel bolted together with cheap Chinese hardware. WILL NEED GALLONS OF LUBE TO KEEP THE HITCH FROM BINDING UP, AND TEARING ITSELF APART
