I got this recovery suit for my five-month-old kitten after her spay surgery, and it worked wonderfully! The fabric is soft, breathable, and calming, which kept her comfortable throughout the recovery process. The suit fit her perfectly, and she had no problem moving around, eating, or even grooming her face. It was a much better alternative to the traditional cone of shame, as she didn’t seem as stressed wearing it.However, I did try it on my medium-sized adult cat, and unfortunately, the suit didn’t fit her as well. It was too tight around the chest area and didn’t provide enough coverage for her abdomen, which made it uncomfortable for her. So, while it worked great for my kitten, I wouldn’t recommend it for larger or fully grown cats.Overall, this is an excellent option for kittens and smaller cats, providing them with comfort and freedom during their recovery. If you have a larger adult cat, I would suggest looking for a bigger size or a different product.

Unfortunately my cat has severe scratching problems. I thought this would mostly keep the medicine on the wounds and not let her lick it off. This suit fits her very close so I knew she couldn't slip out of it like she has with some others. But her rear claws just shredded the suit because she just can't quit the scratching. The suit would be fine it used to cover incisions but it is not very thick and not suitable for the purpose that I wanted to use it. Not the fault of the suit.

We had two rescue kittens get spayed at the same time and so the vet told us to get a suit because the cones would not prevent the other from picking at the wound. They BOTH hated this suit and the other mfg’s brand we got. It would have been funny had they not been so unhappy. We put this on and the one instantly became aggressive. The other rolled over like one of those goats that freezes when it is scared. She did this, let's sticking straight up in the air as she was making those weird cat growling sounds. We felt so guilty because she had just had surgery. We went and purchased a small cone for a couple of dollars and she (and her sister) tolerated wearing them it.This product was not for our kitty!☹

I have a cat who developed a wound in a place where she is constantly able to reach and lick it. She is panicky cat and will not tolerate a cone. I needed a way to be able to apply topical cream to heal the wound and not have her try to lick off the medicine, which wouldn't be healthy. The cat is small, and the small size did fit. I did order pink, but blue was shipped. I'm sure the cat doesn't mind but the order was not exactly as described. It took TWO people to pull this over cat while holding it still. There is a drawstring and snap buttons to keep in place. The cat fought with the "sweater" for about an hour but is now used to it better. Now that it is on, we will leave it in place and just apply cream under it. Although the cat can still try to bite through it, I'm confident she can't lick the cream through it so this is serving its purpose.

This little suit is so much better than the cone of shame. It has buttons on the back of it so the cat can not chew them off. The neck has a drawstring to adjust it to the best and most comfortable fit. And of course a tail hole. My cat tried to pee with it on and got the suit wet so you may want to have two of them so there is a backup while one is cleaned.

I have the surgery planned for March, so I thought I would get one of these suits while I think about it. Hopefully, they don't grow too much. It fits the larger male kitten, so it should fit the smaller female in a month or two. It was easy to put on. I like the snaps versus velcro that sticks to fur. It is nice and soft and should be comfortable.

I got this for my kittens because I'm keeping them in these to prevent grooming while recovering from Giardia. It's good quality. I like breathable fabric and the size is good. The only problem is that I ordered pink and got green. I can still use it, but wish I would've gotten the right color I ordered.Overlap though it's a nice recovery suit option. Works well and good quality.
