The pie plates look elegant for serving, and function beautifully! I was a bit worried about the pie crusts browning and baking evenly (since I’m used to metal tins); but they browned and baked beautifully. I highly recommend these pie plates.

Pyrex plates are always a good choice for baking. 4 star because they made me sweat it for Christmas which they arrived late. Not happy about that.

My kids got lead poisoning from some very expensive dinner where I used. Mikasa. So I switched to Pyrex pie plates 40 years ago. Still using them go from the freezer to the oven to the table. And the edge around the side keeps little ones from pushing the food off their place and it’s less frustrating for them.

I’ve always loved these old-school pie plates better than anything else I’ve tried. They are nice and deep and the scalloped edge helps with making a nice finish. I also like that you can see how done the bottom is. The best.

I bought these as a replacement for the one I dropped. Price for 2 was very good. I used the one I dropped (exactly the same pie plate) many times. Pyrex is very sturdy but it IS glass so usually breaks when dropped.
