These were exactly what I needed to lower the front of my car and I can (manually) select the ride settings for the different driving I do.I would HIGHLY suggest setting the adjustment shoulder the spring sits on at least 3" from the bottom thread before installing. It is SOOOOO much easier to lower the vehicle than it is to raise it once the shocks are installed! Ask me how I know....
