Works as advertised, but check dimensions. What fooled me was the dimensions on this item matched the dimensions of the CUTOUT on my door, but not the old/existing lock. I thought it would be fine, but it isnt., this lock is too small and while it installs leaves unsightly gaps around the edges.Lesson: MAKE SURE you get a lock that matches the old lock NOT the cutout size.If this IS the right size for you, it does work and look well.

Had a 45 year old pocket door pull that had seen better days. This new unit mounted perfectly in the recess cut in the door and the screw holes all lined up! No idea what the original was like new, but this have a very substantial feel, (it is actually a bit tough to unlock one locked, but I suspect it is the alignment of the door and not the fault of the pull). Competitively priced, arrived quickly, fit and installed easily and looks great.

The pull mechanism gave out on my previous door pull, and I chose this one to replace it. I like it even better than the original. For one thing, the openings are larger and much easier to grasp. This may be because it doesn't have a lock set into it, which took up a lot of room on the old one. But the truth is that I don't need a lock on this door. It was extremely easy to install, and the satin nickel finish is very nice. I highly recommend it!

These are solid brass (or so the description says), and feel quite sturdy. There are no plastic parts. However even though they’re supposed to be matte black they’re more matte dark brown. Still look great though!
