My favorite youtube food channel talked about this ...a lot. So after a long while, I purchased it just to see what the excitement was. Its not a crazy departure of what you'd expect, but it is a simple design product constructed of good quality materials.It cleans up and stores easily. I really didn't realize I needed a colander that had arms for the sink until I got one...fantastic product. Really great, to be honest and no more more colander tipping. Its a rectangle and my old one was a circle...but otherwise, better in every way. Honestly, the rectangle fits the sink better, so probably better in every single way.

This strainer is so great for so many things, but I especially love it for draining pasta. My husband would always put the old colander right in the sink to drain pasta and it would gross me out every time (and I'd usually try to sneak in and disinfect the sink before the pasta was done cooking, lol!) When you think about all the nasty stuff and germs that end up in your kitchen sink, the last thing you want to do is put something you're going to eat into it!It's great for washing produce, too. If the whole point of washing produce is to get dirt, wax and germs off of it, the last thing I want to do is splash bacteria and junk from the kitchen sink onto it. I like to use this when I'm making mashed potatoes, too. You can wash the potatoes in this before you peel them, set the peeled potatoes back into it for a quick rinse before they go into the pot and then drain the cooked potatoes back into it.....all up and out of the way of the sink drain.The strainer feels very sturdy positioned over the sink and I've never had an issue with it falling. I love that it's collapsible and doesn't take up much space in the cabinet, too. This is a must-have for any kitchen!

I would high recommend this as a space saving strainer. It works wonderfully as a strainer, AND with its ability to collapse, it stores very easily. We don't have to have the smaller storage, but if you do, it is well worth buying!

I love that this strainer can expand and fit all different types of sinks. I can push it towards the back of my sink and still use the front part or vice versa. It fits a large amount of products from pasta or fruits and vegetables. This strainer is sturdy, large and easy to clean and use. I love the fact that it can cold down for easy space saving storage or it can be hung.

I hate putting a strainer right into the sink. Perfect solution here. Easy cleaning, easy storage. Extends to perfect size and big enough to hold a big bag/box of pasta. Perfect!
