I ordered this product mainly for replacing my toilet flapper that was in a state of decomposition. The chain was attached to it. It made more sense to get a whole replacement kit for the price.Unfortunately the handle that comes with the kit doesn't fit toilets that have a curved tank. The rod to which the chain is attached gets blocked on the inside when flushing. It requires a spacer and curving the rod.I ended up using the original handle with the flapper and chain from the kit. It works great once I adjusted the chain length.

The handle fit good but the flapper was to small could not use it

This product is cheaply made. It would have been fairly easy to install but I never got that far. After removing the nut, I noticed the threading was broken (small piece broken off before it was packaged), therefore, I could not tighten the handle onto the toilet. The flapper was also a little too small to fully cover that bottom part. The handle was very light and cheap feeling. A total waste of money. Very disappointed.

The handle is OK .It can be bent to aline correctly .That is what I wanted to replace.The flapper valve was just an extra while I was there deal.This style of flapper will only stay open for half a tank of water .If you set the chain any shorter in an attempt to keep it open longer , it will cam over and not close at all.I put the old one back in. I did use the clip

My old, plastic flapper "chain" broke, which meant I couldn't just replace the flapper—I had to replace the handle too. This came to me within a couple of days of ordering and between the instructions (which were somewhat helpful) and YouTube, I was able to do this myself in less than 15 minutes. My first time! The only issue I had was I had to extend the chain a bit the next day and I needed to wipe down the drain hole a bit more than I had the previous day, but that was just user error. I highly recommend this kit—it was just what I needed!
