I ordered this because my new Aquasource toilet started running after only six months. The flapper was easy to install but it did not stop the running because upon further inspection I found a rubber band that had gotten stuck on to the valve seal (left in tank by installer)and that is why water kept leaking out. After cleaning the partially dissolved and sticky rubber band off of the flapper seal, it worked great! I am still glad I got the new flapper because the one that came with this toilet was a hard plastic material and would not stay open to flush the toilet unless I held down the handle the entire time. Very happy with the toilet now!

My old toilet flapper was old and wouldn't close anymore to stop the toilet water from running. Bought this one to replace it. This one seems to fit the old opening just fine and does the trick of stopping the water from running. However, the chain was so long that it'd catch on the edge of the flapper causing the water to run. So I solved the problem by hooking the chain to one of the holes of the metal bar (with the 3 holes) and that solved the problem. This flapper functions just fine and stops the water from continuously running.

Fit Toto toilet, exact match for the part I replaced. Cheaper on Amazon than big box store. Took under a minute to install

I bought this on 2/24 and it lasted until today 10/19/24. In my opinion, that makes this flapper absolute garbage, since it only lasted 8 months. I don't have hard water, or well water, or anything like that. I live in a city, with decent city water. It took me a while to locate the leak, and by the time I did, my water bill was sky high. It was all because of this little flapped. Don't buy this unless you want it to leak you into the poor house in a few months. This review is my opinion based on my experience with this product.

I saw some reviews that said it works in a Kohler tank and the wait time was substantially shorter..... but, not in mine.....leaks around and in the back/rear of the plunger and won't fill nor fit tight...bought it because of the reviews but it takes the more expensive and longer wait, proprietary Kohler flapper, unfortunately

These work really well with our toilet. No leaks. It's very easy on the hands when flushing now compared to our previous flapper that somehow made flushing very difficult.
