The first valve I bought without the gasket the tank keeps leaking water. I then purchased this one with gasket the tank no longer leaks water. Works great!

Works quite well but internal gasket was not enough in my case. I still had to use a sealant tape.Somehow 3-4 gal tanks were available with 1/4" valve only. I have tiny unit and not a big tank but I want to have good water flow when I'm refilling humidifiers. Because of that I've got this 3/8" valve. Even though my RO unit works on 1/4" hoses, I used adapter to connect it to 3/8" running from the tank to the outlet. I also don't use faucet but just a 3/8" hose to fill humidifiers. More convenient, faster and less messy.
