The fiber transmits light well but the actual clear fiber part is soft and gummy. It’s not a typical POF.

I purchased 1/4â€ID black silicone tubing for my portable ac condensation drain. I used an adaptor since most portable ac units have a large drain port (thus allowing smaller tubing and reduced cost).The black tubing is moderately flexible with a wall thick enough to prevent kinking. For my 1/4†ID tubing, the wall thickness is 3/32â€. The color prevents algae or mold from growing in the drain line. This tubing is also much more firm than any clear silicone tubing I’ve used. Excellent quality and exactly what I needed!

Bought for sunsun canister filter to replace green tubing. Works great but it's soft and may bend causing water flow to reduce. Have to cut to size
