This has really good tone, especially for the price. My wife absolutely loves to play it and it's built very well. It seems to be very easy to learn how to play it, it comes with a little book and peel and stick numbers to help guide you. Very nice and good sounding instrument.

Got this mostly out of curiosity since my drumming experience is practically nill. I like that it comes with a storage carrying bag, plus extras like finger picks, and drum mallet holder. Not sure what the extra set of numbers are for since it came with numbers attached. The music book is very small and elementary. But it's fun to follow, especially for recognizable tunes.Deducted 1 star because I'm bit baffled by the online description claiming "Rain Drum for Outside Garden." I think it will be interesting to use outside in nice weather. However, instructions clearly state to avoid getting it wet or exposing it to dampness. From the online description I had imagined I could hang this outside in my garden to keep it handy to use there. But that's not advised.Overall, it's a nice product and would likely make for nice gift giving.

I honestly got this little steel drum on a whim, but I am so glad I did because it is already so much fun! My daughter loves music and singing songs so I thought this would be a fun and easy instrument for us both to play with, but I am genuinely surprised by how much fun this is to play. Thanks to the little book of songs that came with it, I've already been learning simple little songs for her like Happy Birthday and Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star!The drum itself feels sturdy and well made, though I admit I have very little knowledge or experience with this type of instrument so I may not be the best judge. It sounds pretty and is easy to play, though I have yet to test the "accuracy" of the notes with one of our tuners. I haven't tested it in the rain yet since we haven't had any rain, but I think it will sounds just as pretty with water hitting it, and the removeable plastic plug in the bottom should make it easy enough to clean and dry out afterward so it doesn't weather too quickly.The little drum also comes with everything you need, from the care instructions, music book, drum sticks or mallets (not sure what they're called for this instrument), finger drum things (also no clue what those are called) and a soft velvet carrying bag. I honestly cannot wait to learn more songs on this little drum, I am having so much fun with it and highly recommend it for everyone of any musical ability!!!

Overall, this is a beautiful and versatile instrument, perfect for relaxation and mindfulness practices.
