For the price, I really wasn't expecting a lot. However, on opening the package I was pleasantly surprised. The item was well constructed, had good weight and balance in the hand compared to others I'd used in the bast. Finish was nice. Best of all, it can be cleaned in the dishwasher without ruining the finish. After using it the first time, I couldn't be happier with my purchase. I'd recommend if you want and need a good meat tenderizer, don't bother spending big money for one. The Rainspire does the job, does it well, and looks nice doing it.

I'm not sure why I went so long pounding my meat with pots, pans, rolling pins, or whatever large item I could find..this thing works great! I was super surprised by the heft and durability of this mallet, given the great price. 10/10 recommend.

I read reviews of all kinds of meat malets - brand names, Chinesium, no names... everyone seemd unhappy with their purchase. I love this one. Would buy again in a New York minute.Seems to be a great powder coated finish. 9.5 oz, really did a great job flattening the boneless skinless chicken thighs for tomorrow's Chicken Piccata,Might have spent $5 more than the cheapext, but this things looks and feels like it will be the last one I'll ever need to buy, unless I need more than one to use at the same time.

The quality, weight, comfort, and size is just what I was looking for and works amazing for the value of the money as well! It was well worth getting! We use it for our meat for meals and to help crush out ice so we don't have big pieces!

La cabeza del martillo no está hecha de acero, no tiene nada hecho de acero. Es cerámica y unos piquitos del cabezal llegaron rotos y ahà pude ver el material, se ve pintado y de poca calidad. Muy probable que se rompa si por accidente pegas en la mesa. La marca original dice que el martillo está hecho de acero y este que parece ser imitación no. No lo recomiendo, su precio fue elevado para lo que te venden.
