This No-Drill Laptop Stand System installs quickly and easily into the specified vehicles using the existing hardware of the passenger side seat rails. This configuration provides a telescoping feature with upper and lower poles that allow you to set your mount to the desired height with the simple turn of a knob. Dual swing arms provide articulation and 12 inches of reach for passenger and driver access to the mounted device. Patented rubber ball and socket joint provides additional adjustment as well as shock and vibration isolation. The RAM Tough-Tray is spring loaded to accommodate 10" to 16" wide laptops (17" wide screens). The tray features four adjustable retaining arms with rubber grip feature. These arms can be moved both vertically and horizontally. This allows for a custom fit for varying thicknesses of laptops and the freedom of not blocking ports or drives.

This is a solid mount and I had no trouble finding the perfect position for my laptop. My only advice would be to watch the instructions on YouTube before assembly. It will come packaged as multiple items and there's no single set of instructions for the entire assembly. I tried to guess how it went together and got it backwards, but later found the YouTube video later and it was a lot more clear.

Wow. Just wow. Built like a tank! Installed in a 2013 Toyota Tacoma, and have an HP840G1 with an extended battery sitting on this ram mount (pretty heavy w/ the extended battery). Very little shake from the entire unit when the truck is navigating my urban battleground. I plan on mounting a few other accessories to this because its so stout! Proud to buy an American made product! Want to switch to a tablet? No problem, just switch the tough tray out to an x-grip (which I would probably do on rough excursions). 100% lifetime warranty on the mounting components.. you just can't go wrong. When it comes to safety, I'm confident that this mount would stay in place in case of an accident (not sure about the laptop!). I do wish RAM included the 'flat' mount retainer clips with this so that you could close your laptop all the way while the vehicle was in motion, those were an additional $13, no biggie. The mount does cause the passengers legs to have a 'tighter' fit, but not to the point to where the seat is unusable Great product!.

I returned mine. It just wasn't for me. Takes up too much passenger space. Way overbuilt for my needs. The laptop tray is insanely bulky and noisy.Seems like a very good solution for truckers or people who rarely use the passenger seat. Build quality is impeccable. This thing would survive the apocalypse. Used in 2017 Toyota 4Runner. Wish there was a 'light' option more geared for your everyday dude or dudette.

I have used multiple Ram Mount products in the past for mounting electronics (primarily on motorcycles)in the past and have always been pleased with their performance. This product is no exception. Mounting was quick and easy with only a 14mm wrench required to remove the front two passenger seat bolts (which you re-use). The actual computer tray and arm are easily removed if you want it out of the way to carry a passenger. I am a traveling business person and it makes it very easy to access and work on my computer at short notice. I don't know how I did without it in the past! I give it a 4 out of 5 stars (the only reason I didn't give it 5 is because it is too easy to knock the black paint off the base).

Great, sturdy product. If you're on the fence about getting one of these, go for it. Best purchase I made for my truck. Will make your mobile workstation a reality with maximum functionality. Mount pulls out for a passenger to sit normally in the seat. Installed in a 2013 Tacoma in about 30 mins.
