This is easy to adjust, put on, and use. I have had great success using it in training with my 5 month old GSD puppy and its easy to add links as he grows. It's lightweight, gentle, and my pup understands it as a way to communicate. I've found it to be more effective than his martingale style collar.I bought a second one for my big dog, who was trained on a HS prong collar. It's great for tuning him up since he no longer needs strong corrections. Not sure how effective it would be as a starting point for a big or strong-willed dog.I'm not sure why people think just putting it on the dog will stop them from barking- the advertising might be a little misleading.

I have purchased so many different type of behavior collars /harnesses and none of them did what they claim , ACCEPT this one. With in 2 days I’ve been able to control my doodle on walks and without treats. So pleased with this collar. I wouldn’t use the metal type cuz they can pierce the skin and can be harmful.It’s durable, you can size it and it’s safe. My fur baby is 2 1/2 and I wish I had this collar so much sooner, better later than never the saying goes. Highly recommend this collar for anyone experiencing walking or behavior problems. I tug up on the collar the second he wants to do his thing and he stops dead in his tracks now! I’ve been using it for approximately 2 weeks. I can’t say enough about this collar, worth the money and more!

I'll start by saying you must properly train yourself and your dog how to use this collar. We use them on both of our Great Danes and they have completely changed thier behavior on lease. They wear them has high as possible on the neck and it keeps them from pulling. If it fits too loose it is not as effective. They don't seem to bother either of our Danes as they get excited to see us pull them out because they know that it means walk time.

We have used these collars for or dogs for many years. They are great for leash training. We have used them with our Labs, Aussies and Border Collie. Highly recommend.

I have a white german sheppard and pit bull mix and this collar gently prevents pulling better than any of the no-pull harnesses. I have enjoyed walking them much more with both using this collar. Easy to apply and holds up well. Much gentler than a standard steel prong collar and just as effective even loosely applied

I had it for about 2 months, it was a fine collar, definitely not the most effective. My dog pulled at a park the other day and it broke, allowing him to run after another dog, which could have been an awful situation.

This really did nothing for our dog, he kept barking even with it on, it was put on correctly i even watch a video to make sure I'm not stupid lol. Unfortunately this is not good for our Great Py 1yo.Id rate it lower but because it could simply be my dog and it could work for others i don't want to hinder their sales.

Bought this for our Mastiff puppy to help with control. As he grew we were able to add the pieces, much like you would to extend a watch bracelet links. When he got too big I bought a 2nd one and used some of the new links to extend the old one. Given it's all plastic I had concerns that it would eventually break at one of the link connection points, but it lasted for almost a year until he got too big. It's much stronger than it seems. Highly recommended.

I have only used this for 2 walks with my 6 month old Lab since getting it, but what a difference. I don’t get home from our walks completely frazzled, with my arm about to fall off. Walks had been going well till he reached 4 months old, and as he got bigger, it just became so unenjoyable, especially with my 6 year old home for the summer and along for our daily walks. I have taken him both times with just myself to make sure it was going to work, and it has made an amazing difference. My son will be joining us for our walk tomorrow! Highly recommend.
