I got this after loving the ramen version. I LOVE mac and cheese so I had to give this a try. It. Is. Perfect. The noodles are cooked perfectly and the flavor is so good. The cheese sauce is actually creamier, I think maybe because it retains more of the starch. I love that it uses so much less water. I do see several people saying it took longer than the directions. I didn't have that experience at all. I have a 1100 watt microwave, so if you have a lower wattage, it might be different.

I love these things and I think they're great. I own several and I use them for everything from mac 'n' cheese to powdered mashed potatoes and microwave rice with curry. Throw one in your lunch box with a grilled cheese sandwich or two and a packet of ramen and you can have chicken ramen with grilled cheese almost anywhere you go.They're super convenient and durable.The only problem is if you buy them in stores they come in a box which you can discard and recycle, but if you buy one on Amazon, it comes in a plastic bag with an accursed sticker on it. The sticker's adhesive is terrible; it'll stay there and stay sticky for dozens of washes and it'll resist all sorts of hand scrubbing and soaps.Fortunately, all you need to do to get rid of the adhesive is peel off the plastic layer of the sticker, wipe a little Goo Gone across the paper and adhesive part, and then leave it there to sit for about 15-30 mins. You'll need to prop it up because the bowl itself is slanted, but you can use a paper towel for that. Anyway, once you leave the Goo Gone to sit and soak for a bit, the adhesive and the remains of the sticker wipe right off! It's fantastic!Just remember to wash your bowl thoroughly after using Goo Gone on it. You'll only be using a tiny amount of Goo Gone, and only on the outside of the bowl, but Goo Gone is still toxic, so wash it thoroughly just to be safe.

This is one of my favorite additions to my kitchen now. It makes last-minute pasta cooking possible in a quick amount of time! It works both for the mac n cheese and for ramen cakes. The only reason I gave it a 4 instead of 5 is because you need more water than it says to get fully cooked noodles from a box of mac n cheese. Easy to clean and super helpful if you need a quick meal!

I remember getting one of the first "Rapid Ramen" sets the moment I saw them on Shark Tank, and continue to use them regularly.This new Rapid Mac set intrigued me, and I ordered it and just a few short days later it was in my hands - pretty fast shipping, if you ask me.The product is sturdy, made from the same material of the original product, but bigger and taller. Brighter eye pleasing colors as well. Kind of a spring tomato red/orange, and southwestern turquoise - very HAPPY colors!Could not be easier to use, and I clocked it - done in 4min 50 seconds! Excellent results, too.Suddenly, Mac and Cheese in a form other than those small cups became available to the microwave! You may be amazed at how fast it works, truly the way to go when compared to the stove top method.I am sure this would make a great gift, be it for a college student , senior or anywhere in-between. I could easily imagine setting this up in a gift box/basket, for example.Rapid Mac new, its cool, and it works! I think we will be hearing a LOT about this product as more and more people discover it. Certainly was a hit on Good Morning America, nice to have it at Amazon!

I don't know about you but I find Easy Mac yucky. This thing worked like a charm. The instructions say put the pasta in first than the water. I read lots of reviews and it said to put the water in first than the pasta. Cook for 2 and half minutes, take out and stir, put back in microwave to cook for 2 and half more minutes. I will use less water next time as I had to drain off a bit before I put the butter, milk and sauce packet in. All told it really did take 5 minutes to cook the pasta. From start to finish I would say the entire process took 7 minutes total - Put water in cooker (going forward a little bit below the fill line), open Macaroni and Cheese box so you can pour the pasta into the cooker, cook 2 and a half minutes, take out stir, put back in microwave for 2 and a half more minutes, take out of microwave after done cooking, wipe off the salt water goo that collects around top of the bowl, drain out the residual water, mix in milk, butter, and sauce packet, stir and finally eat.

Bought this for my son and granddaughter and they absolutely love it. She is only 3 and she hates waiting for the Mac and cheese to be done cause you know, it takes forever not. But with this rapid cooker, she loves how fast It takes and my son says it taste the same as stove top method. And works great for ramen too.

This product works great but is kinda expensive for it only bring 2 plastic containers but it does the job. We cook Kraft Dinner and Noodles inside of it.
