I've used this cheesecloth and it is a very high quality product. Nice fine weave, but not too tight and it's sturdy with no fraying when cut. I didn't know what to expect but it works pretty great but you definitely need to seethe edges if you cut the cheesecloth smaller, I even boiled the cloth and it held great but I couldn’t clean it because it was in a fatty broth

Making elderberry and other syrups at home. Had tried many (MANY!) layers of the gauze-like cheesecloth supermarkets sell with resulting sludge we didn't like. Grade 90 cheesecloth produced nice, pure syrup. Thanks so much!
