It's an endless battle to keep up with my husky's coat, and now that he's older, going to the groomers is a stressful ordeal. So I have to do all my grooming at home.This tool is great. It's not magic - you have to know how to use it properly. But, it allows me to cut down the time we spend grooming.It's not too sharp, but you do need to be cautious. The handle is comfortable, I don't feel pain after using it.I'd recommend it to those with dogs with an undercoat, just make sure you research how to use it.

This product really works. Because of the comfortable handle, I was able to go lightly at the snarls and then heavier in the areas comfortable to my cat. He has a heavy undercoat that daily brushing was never able to remove. This comb has removed HUGE amounts of fuzz, leaving my short haired cat more able to deal with the heat here in CO. I highly recommend this product, and hope your pet enjoys the brushing. TIP: start with a regular brush and when the pet starts to become agitated, stop and return another day.

I have several cats, let's just say the number varies a bit as I also foster, but I have several of my own. This has been a great addition to my arsenal of combs, brushes, etc. for grooming the cats. It gets deep into the fur, especially the clumps and they can be worked out much more gently. My two oldest (17+ yrs) are not great at self-grooming anymore but are now looking and feeling so much better. I do not think I will have to shave them again. The different sides of the rake have different distances between the teeth so I start with the bigger distance and work into the smaller. It gets so much off and is much better tolerated, but they still need to be in the mood to be groomed.

The item arrived today fast service. Used it on one of 7 cats and I was amazed at what came off the cat. Excellent item to get the underneath fur. Soft on cat, great in the tangle and hair removal easy to use and clean.

My elder kitty (short hair tabby) kinda said "F - it", stopped grooming, and became very matted. Run of the mill grooming brushes did nothing, but I was able to de-mat her in a few sessions in about an hour. We could have been done in 5 or 10 minutes, but she just tolerated 4 or 5 passes at a time. I think it does pull on the hair a bit, but so do having mats. I also think she feels better, because she kept coming back to me for more until all the mats were gone. The bristles are not sharp to the touch, but also easily grip and remove stuck on greasy mats. Recommended without reservation!

this tool works really well for getting the undercoat on my dogs, but no matter how I use it-it seems to pull and is painful to the point my dogs do not like having it used on them.

One of the best cat comb we have ever used. Glides through mats easily without pulling. So easy to clean. Our long hair cat loves it.
