Chodwe RCA to HDMI Converter
If you want to use your DVD, VCR, VHS, Android TV box or game system with RCA output to connect to your new HDTV or HDMI-only display, this RCA to HDMI converter is what you need.
It converts RCA (AV, composite, CVBS) signals to HDMI signals, so your old composite devices can be played on a digital TV with an HDMI port. Up to 10 bits and 162MSPS sampling, black/white level expansion, improved color conversion, dynamic range expansion, blue stretching, auto-detection and auto-conversion of composite signals to 1080p (60Hz) output are used in our RCA to HDMI analog to digital conversion. This makes the video active and provides the clearest and most realistic HD visuals.

It worked perfectly to get my Xbox 360 to connect via HDMI, video quality is good. I'm happy with the product and price. It has great compatibility with my tv and game system, easy to install just plugged USB into TV for power source. Connected Xbox rca to box and hdmi to box and TV.

I used this to connect my 1992 Super Nintendo to a smart TV that is 2 yrs old and didn’t have the old yellow red white AV connection - it works great and is easy to set up. Ran the HDMI cord to my TV and used the USB port on my TV for the power source. Plugged in the three AV connectors from the Super Nintendo to this unit and it functions great. The old 32 bit Nintendo is a little blurry in places on the screen because the game’s resolution isn’t as detailed as new smart TVs but overall the picture quality is fantastic.

Was able to connect a PS2 to a large modern tv and get some old school fun back! I think the picture quality was fine based on knowing what was being connected and viewed wasn't the best quality compared to the tv's ability and new gaming graphics. It still seemed better than the whole original experience. Don't forget to plug it into power, but other than that, set up was easy.

Converter arrived in unsealed bag. Usb cable not included, needed to power the unit. If you check the ad showing the unit, it indicates usb cable both included and necessary to purchase separately. I've never seen that before. Usb power should always be included. I will need to purchase it separately. Possibly due to quality control error.Update: I revised rating to four stars. The converter works fine with the addition of the usb cable purchased later. Seller was nice to offer refund. Probably the cable fell out of bag prior to sending.

IT ACTUALLY IS EASY TO CONNECT. HOWEVER, A CLEAR ILLUSTRATION WOULD HAVE BEEN WORTH MORE THAN A THOUSAND WORDS IN MY CASE...ESPECIALLY SINCE I ASSUME. TEE HEE. SAMSUNG TV TECH SUPPORT REPS WERE SAYING "YOUR DVD PLAYER IS TOO OLD, NOT COMPATIBLE WITH BLAH, BLAH..ETC, ETC." ONE REP SEEMED TO KNOW, BUT, HELD BACK ON TELLING ME HOW, SOMEHOW. SMH. IDK. ANYWAY, AFTER SPENDING HOURS WITH THE ILL TRAINED TECH SUPPORT REPS(S) WITHOUT SUCCESS, IN UTTER FRUSTRATION AND DESPERATION I WENT BACK AND READ POSTED AMAZON CUSTOMER REVIEWS. THAT INFO LEAD ME TO CONNECT ALL (ALL) OF THE WIRES/CABLES THAT WERE SUPPLIED IN THE CONVERSION KIT AND TO DOUBLE CHECK THAT THEY WERE ALL PROPERLY PLACED. WITH THAT I WAS FINALLY SUCCESSFUL IN SETTING UP THE CONVERSION BOX!I AM VERY SATISFIED WITH THIS PRODUCT, SO FAR AND I THINK IT IS REASONABLY PRICED AND A GOOD PURCHASE.

Converter to be able to connect and old unit like VHS and certains DVD player that don't have HDMI connection possibility. And it work great. and easy to connect. and it work first time. So I recommand it for people that still use old technology with HDMI TV connection.

I had an old VCR and tapes with no way to show on my HDMI projector. This device solved the problem. The picture is à little grainy, but that is the quality of the 40 year old tape. Overall a great solution for the problem.
