I didn’t have much expectation for this product BUT I CHANGED MY OPINION once I got it installed. Took about ten minutes using my impact wrench. A ratchet and sockets would take may be 15 mins….most of that spent laying on your back enjoying the simple and durable installation. Looks “factoryâ€.Works great. Likely will save injuries. I installed this on my ‘24 Ram Limited and it looks like it was done on the assy-line. (I do however, recommend you re-use the grade 8 bolt your truck came with, which holds the step and rear bumper to the frame, rather than the long bolt of unknown strength which comes with it. All the rest of the hardwars is just fine. Enjoy!

I am 65 years old and it is almost impossible for me to "jump" up and get in the bed of my 2020 ram 2500 Limited. I decided to try a retractable step to make it easier. I did not want to spend over $300, and I found this one for just over $100.Delivery was pretty fast and installation was much easier than I thought. Used impact to remove the 3 bolts required to mount this step. It came with 3 replacement bolts which is a plus. I did not even need to move my wiring like I heard several others mention in their reviews.Installation took maybe 15 minutes. Installed all 3 new bolts loosely, then holding the step in were I wanted it, tightened the bolts evenly then torqued down to specs. Tighten up the 4th small bolt that holds the 2 brackets together and its all good. I might have mine mounted a little high, so I need to used my hand to lower it, but it work very well.I weigh about 200 and it holds me firmly and does not deflect. I recommend this to anyone wanting a retractable step for their truck. Well worth the cost.

Works like a charm. Hubby bought me a new Ram Mega Cab, which I LOVE. But the dang designers are all clearly super tall & long legged. Me, being only 5’6â€, and not as flexible in my old age, need a step to get in the bed, especially if the tailgate’s down. This one did the job just right, and makes my life so much easier, especially when your hands are full. Item arrived quick, easy to follow directions for install. Would definitely recommend a second set of hands as it’s a bit heavy (as I would hope it would be for it’s purpose), and trying to hold it while getting the bolts started just worked much better with four hands instead of two. Comes down with a little foot pressure and snaps securely up with a nudge from your foot. Please excuse the dirty truck, road tripping at present. :)

I bought this step for my 2024 Ram 3500 DRW since it was significantly less expensive than the Mopar step. I installed it following the simple instructions and it only took about 30 minutes. I'm a big guy (265 lbs.) and the step hold my weight with no problem. I would have given it 5 stars but the step sometimes catches under the plastic bumper trim. I adjusted it and it seems to have helped.

After reading reviews about fitment on other similar products I went with these based on reviews and glad I did. Installation instructions were straight forward. Keep the top 2 mounting bolts loose so you can install the support bracket with ease. Once the support bracket and hardware is tightened you can tighten the main 2 mounting bolts. The notch for the step is much less noticeable in person. I used this very step to install the OEDRO folding tonneau I purchased with the step. For the price I am very pleased with the quality and ease of install.

I bought this for my 2021 Ram 2500. It is heavy and seems well built. I watched You-Tube video for installation and it took 10 minutes to install. (Very Easy). It works great, and I am very happy with it.

The step fell apart within nine months. Pivot pin fell out while driving rendering the step useless and broken. The manufacturer claims to offer a one year warranty but is currently giving me the run around and does not seem to be willing to honor the warranty.

Bought this for hubby as a retirement gift and he loves it! I couldn't afford Mopar, but this is great! Seems pretty heavy duty and it only took him a little while to install.

These steps were very simple to install, less than 15 minute installation time. Price was about a quarter of the cost from Mopar. These should be standard on all Ram trucks from factory.
