It is listed in the product description : "Powerful quick disconnect assembly for easy installation and removal of seats, Suitable for all kinds of bicycles, such as mountain bikes, electric cars, etc." This is not the case. It needs to be bolted in place. This product is Made in China and is stereo typical of that. It is to say that it is very cheaply made.Product Hardware is of very soft metal and does not come with lock washers or lock nuts. Keep in mind that once it is installed it would be a good idea to verify all bolts and nuts each and every time you will use it.Aside from this, it's kinda cool!Here are few pointers:Throw out the provided screw driver and wrench. They are not properly sized and due to the soft metal of the hardware, will easily strip the bolts or the screw head. Use a good Philips screw driver and metric ratcheting or non ratcheting box wrench.The arm rests needed to be forced into position as they did not align although there is only one way they go on. When putting these on be very careful not to force the threaded ends through the slots or they could get cross threaded.Although the description states that it is rated to 110 pounds, I would err on the side of caution and not place more than 50lbs on this unit.
